Olivia Chuang obtained a Bachelor of Music (BMus) as a scholarship holder from the Royal College of Music in London under the tutelage of Amanda Truelove.

She has conducted in-school workshops at the Larmenier & Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, and led string ensembles as a strings tutor at the Tri-borough Music Hub in London in collaboration with RCM Sparks.

Besides being involved in classical music, Olivia has appeared as a soloist in pop concert Yawen Love Tour with acclaimed harpist Lee Che-Yi in both Taipei and Kaohsiung Arena, as well as school-produced musicals such as Nanyang Sing!, Under Construction and Chai Dao Kueh- The Musical!.
She has played with orchestras such as the Orion Orchestra in the 19th annual Night Under The Stars charity concert at the Royal Festival Hall, and the Scherzo Ensemble in performances of the The Barber of Seville at Longhope Opera in Hampshire and Charlton House.
